About The Actiform Group

The Actiform Group of Companies has been involved in the construction of prefabricated and system build structures since 1979.

During this time we have forged a strong reputation for the provision of quality buildings designed to meet the specific needs of the market place with the flexibility to provide these buildings on a capital purchase, hire or lease purchase basis.

The Group operates in a variety of markets and is most successful where expertise and quality are paramount.

Drawing on internal resources and external consultancies we provide a full turnkey package in the provision of large and small site facilities, all of which meet the latest considerate constructors guidelines. Theatres, wards, dialysis units, day care centres and wards etc. within the healthcare market, and we provide offices, catering facilities, classrooms, laboratories, in fact any form of accommodation that may be required.

The common theme in all markets is that we take an open minded approach to the Client’s requirements when preparing the design rather than restricting ourselves to a single form of construction.

To this end we design according to the Clients needs, using timber frame, steel frame and traditional methods of construction where appropriate.

Within the healthcare sector, all designs comply with the relative HTM, HBN, Building Regulation requirements and good practice. We offer the best value for money when all aspects of the project are considered.

Group Companies

The Actiform Group comprises Actiform Hire Limited, Actaccom Limited and System Building Services. The companies are connected by common shareholding and directorships but each operates as separate business with any intercompany trading clearly identified and charged at market rates. The purpose of each company is to focus on its own area of speciality and create a synergy which allows a co-ordinated approach to different market sectors.

Actiform Hire Limited

Actiform Hire Limited is the parent company and is for the provision of Actiform’s products on a hire, lease or hire purchase basis. For the Hospital Trust market we can configure operating leases which comply with the SSAP21 Treasury guidelines.

This company is primarily involved in providing longer term facilities to hospitals, schools, utilities and PLCs and has deliberately reduced its involvement in the short term hire market to concentrate its efforts and resources in specialist areas. The company is enjoying steady growth in the long term lease market.

Actaccom Limited

Actaccom Limited is the manufacturing and contracting arm of the Group specialising in fast track and off-site construction methods.

Our products include:

Single to four storey modular buildings

Panelised building systems

Portable and re-locatable Jack Leg, Skid and Wheeled Chassis buildings

Steel secure portable offices and toilets

Steel framed structures

The modular and panelised systems are available with a variety of internal and external finishes depending on proposed use, location and life span. The most popular finishes for temporary applications are textured paint or plastisol steel. For permanent build we can offer brick, stone and composite external finishes and skimmed plastered interiors and suspended ceilings. A choice of roof styles are available: flat, mono-pitch, dual pitch and traditional pitched/ tiled style.

Through Actaccom Limited we provide a comprehensive design service for our Clients, undertaking when required a full Architectural role encompassing all aspects of Building Control and Planning Application services.

System Building Services

System Building Services provides an in Group logistics service handling relocation and site refurbishment works.

The above companies comprise the Actiform Group. The purpose of the above structure is three fold. First, to allow each company to concentrate on its area of expertise. Second, to enable close management control to ensure that each company is self sufficient and profitable in its own right and third, to take advantage of the synergies created between the Companies.
